Gumbiner & Eskridge LLP has an immediate opening for a full time associate attorney to help us keep pace with our practice growth. Aside from what you can gather about us from the information on this website, we typically represent insureds in insurance disputes (all types), plaintiffs in property damage, business contract and torts, and select personal injury/wrongful death cases. While the majority of our cases are in California, we also practice outside of California on an ongoing basis. We care deeply about our clients and the majority of them become friends as time goes by. We always try to find the solutions that will best serve all the client's needs and focus our efforts neither on trying all cases nor on being unwilling to try cases. We deal with complex legal and factual issues that require the ability to master new facts, technical data, and the constantly changing world of insurance policy language and court decisions interpreting insurers' policies and duties. Additionally, the computation of damages is often complex. We are a small firm and intend on staying relatively small. Every effort is made to help our staff and associates develop in their profession, to expand their entrepreneurial skills and to provide a work environment that allows meaningful and flexible opportunities for a sane life outside of the office. Our compensation package is comprehensive, especially for a small firm.
